Samsung and Moto each retain a unique GHOST internal test ID. WebRTC calls use internet data, including Wi-Fi. Turn on airplane mode, then re-enable Wi-Fi to test without cellular data. Browser itself cannot enforce a Wi-Fi-only interface. No 10-digit number or 911.
Lowest verified public entry option: Red Pocket annual prepaid $30 per line for 360 days (200MB per 30 days, talk/text advertised), paid upfront and subject to compatibility/terms. That is $60 upfront for two devices before taxes. These are carrier-controlled numbers; GHOST can run over the data service but cannot reprogram the SIM or intercept normal voice/SMS. Keep Straight Talk active until the replacement line passes calls, messaging and coverage tests.
Telnyx local phone numbers advertised from $1/month/number, not bundled with calling; voice from $0.005 outgoing and $0.0032 incoming per minute. SMS enablement, compliance, 911, taxes, traffic and backend costs additional. Two DIDs ≠ two cellular SIM subscriptions. Carrier API credentials must only live on the server.
Telnyx mobile voice currently advertises $5/SIM/month plus quoted traffic/carrier fees. It advertises separate IoT eSIM connectivity, priced differently. Gigs and 1GLOBAL provide API-based eSIM / subscription lifecycle approaches, but pricing requires a commercial agreement. Do not treat IoT data-only eSIM as a guaranteed native voice/SMS plan.
SS7 is legacy network signaling between authorized telecommunications networks. It does not grant a phone number, eSIM profile, 911 service, or rights to mobile network access. The mobile operator/MVNE handles lawful signaling, while GHOST owns verified app identities, secure messaging, call routing, consent policies, and API boundaries.
eSIM consumer provisioning follows GSMA SGP.22/SM-DP+ architecture via a carrier or partner. Never request, expose or paste an ICCID, EID, activation QR or carrier API secret into the public app.
